Procesing

Iced raw material is stored in chilled-rooms with automatic temperature control to secure that the fish is preserved within optimal process parameters.

Each production line is designed to process 200 tons of Hake and 150 tons of other species per day. The processing is carried out on continous line (Flow-line) and under a strong quality control (HACCP).
Our refrigeration equipment includes 7 plate refrigerators, 5 static tunnels and 1 continuous tunnel. Our total freezing capacity is up to 150 tons per day.

The company has a frozen storage capacity of 2,500 tons of finish products, with an automatic control of temperature that includes the recording of the daily data. This capacity to be increased to 4,500 tons by year 2004.

The technology applied to our process, together with a highly qualified and experienced personnel, allows for the best quality. This is why 25% of the production goes directly to the consumer, and the rest to reprocessing companies in Europe, Japan, and U.S.A.
